(12:27 AM) | Adam Kotsko:
God Does Not Exist
This post replaces the image I had up, which Anthony points out is probably anti-Semitic.
It is a simple question: Is the question whether God exists interesting anymore?
What I mean is this: Is this a question that keeps people up at night? Do people spend their lives pondering the ways that we might harness our feeble intellects to answer the question whether God exists? Do people care either way?
My gut feeling is that aside from a few pockets here and there, the answer is no, and once people leave those pockets, their answer becomes no, too. I might be wrong, though.
I guess the answer might be yes, however, if we counted "wanting to use God to support one's political stance" as "caring whether God exists."
