Because Zizek Deserves a Vacation As Much as a War-Time "President"
I hereby propose, in lieu of the Weblog book and the Theology and the Political week, we work together and write Slavoj Zizek's next article for him. Surely it'll involve reference to Hurricane Katrina, repressed Third World devastation / parallels to African refugee camps, something about Day After Tomorrow, a Jake Gylenhaal dick joke, and then applause for fundamentalists' & Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert's proposal to not rebuild. Or something like that.(Obviously, I'm only half joking.)
