Monday Picture and Cat Blogging: May Day Edition
In the past...Today...
Today is May Day and they are expecting 300,000 people to march despite the rain here in Chicago. Of course, I work for liberals and they won't close for May Day (nor did they close for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which I also had to work). Since I don't have sick days I cannot even lie to attend the march, such being the moral price of being a whore. I considered not going in, but I would be fired. However, I plan to go to the rally after the march and will try to have more pictures for Tuesday Picture Blogging (assuming any pictures are to be taken). If anyone else is going to march I encourage you to post your comments in the boxes below. It promises to be more than just groovy street theatre, but surely it will be low-down and dirty eclecticism. Have a good May Day from all of us here at The Weblog! May we all be everyone today.

OK, OK - Here's some cats too!
Mazie wanted to educate herself about the Worker's Struggle and what she could do about it. This is surprising because she is the lazy one, but not surprising because all revolutions are carried forth by women.
She then educated herself in Marxist-Leninism, but knew she could not fight alone. She went to tell others.
Comrade Mazie encouraged Sid to study theory. He recognized that he had to stop being a stoner if he was to throw off the yoke of oppression.
Comrade Sid leaves to join the battle against capital. After the street battle he will undertake the struggle to develop Marxist-Leninism with his own Chaircat Sid Thought.
