I confess that at this late date, I still don't understand why the invasion of Iraq happened. I confess that I have a lot of strong political opinions, but I don't know what good they do me or anyone else. I confess that I'm going to save myself a lot of time by declaring my voting behavior in advance:- If it somehow hasn't already all been decided by the time of the Illinois primary, I will vote for either Obama or Edwards, whichever is still in the running. If by some miracle both are still contenders, I will vote for Obama, because he's black.
- In the 2008 election, I will as always vote a straight Democratic ticket. (I am absolutely serious about this -- I even voted for Todd Stroger in 2006.)
