Being upset that Ahmadinejad wants to make a gesture of solidarity with the victims of 9/11 is irrational and indefensible, and actively forbidding him from doing so is even worse. He had nothing to do with 9/11 -- indeed, he was not even in power when it happened -- nor did Iran. Like virtually everyone on earth, I'm sure that he views the 9/11 attacks as a genuine tragedy.Or is 9/11 now an honorary part of the Holocaust, such that a Holocaust denier would desecrate it?
