(6:23 PM) | Adam Kotsko:
Neocons
David Brooks' new column, (via Slacktivist) reminds me of a question I've been meaning to ask: why is it that it's only the conservatives who are constantly pointing out that all the "neocons" are Jews? I have seriously never heard a liberal or left-wing commentator make this point before, but in Conservative Land, it's apparently the most important aspect of neoconservativism, aside from the fact that it doesn't even actually exist.
So in summary: The neocons do not exist as a group, but if they did, then everything they did would be okay, because they're all Jews and all their opponents are anti-Semites.
