Meet Me, Monica J. Bennett.
I haven’t met most of you readers of The Weblog, and I thought you might like to know a little bit about me. Scroll down to see my photo. Here are some (wholly earnest) favorites:
Noodles
Engrish
Crazy Psychic Homeless Prophets
German-made power tools
Southwestern earthworks art projects
Slips
Ignoring TV
Alex P. Keaton
Anti-orthodox economic theory
Drag kings
Mainstream White Guys for Peace
Well, that’s pretty much it about me.
Oh, you could read the nice, short biography of me that Adam Robinson posted over at The Pickle.
I might add that although I attended Olivet for four years, I did not officially complete any degree there. I am studying “urban and environmental affairs” now—compliments of my employer, Marquette University. It's a nice inter-disciplinary program that, as such, I think suits me well. I finally decided that if I have the capability and the opportunity, I ought to “jump through the hoop” (ugh, nice wordsmithing, MJB) of getting a degree, in order to attain a position of, well, greater broad-picture positive influence in the world than I might otherwise attain.
The “J” is for Joan.
