(1:48 PM) | Adam Kotsko:
The H is O Watch
m2 of The H is O is now officially my second-favorite blogger [1]. I pencilled him in at second place after his magesterial interview with á Gauche, but after his July 1 post -- nothing short of the greatest parody of Scripture since Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra -- it was official.
I personally think that he should fire all his co-bloggers aside from Kamala and Codpiece, in order to bring the appropriate level of focus to his blog. It might seem unfair to fire Adam Smith, since he has been the most faithful and prolific contributor, but there is a persistent problem with Adam Smith's posts: they make sense. That gives readers who stumble upon his posts an inaccurate impression of what the rest of the blog is going to be like, and so what you end up with is nonsense-lovers who are alienated by Adam's posts and cold-rationality-lovers who are alienated by virtually everything else. I'm also never sure where those mile-long posts from their foreign correspondant are supposed to fit in.
That's my advice, for what it's worth. I mean, the H is O could be a powerhouse, and I hate to see that potential go to waste.
