I'd just like to make a couple observations, then open the floor for discussion.- The shock value of the word "motherfucker" has dropped precipitously in recent years, such that it is no longer the clear leader in the field of vulgarity.
- At the same time, no other obscenity has arisen to fill its role.
UPDATE (Wednesday): I don't want to write a post today. Somebody else do one.
