Horowtiz Still Sucks.
David Horowitz, the self-proclaimed defender of ideological balance on college campuses, is still a moron. Buckling under massive amounts of laughing directed at him, Horowitz has separated the individuals page at Discover the Network to "more accurately define what the Left is." It really is not an improvement, but it is something new to laugh at. This newly devised scale in conservative fucktardery goes from "Totalitarian Radicals" (which includes Muslim terrorists and Bernadine Dohrn) to "Affected Liberals" (NPR and Hollywood), which, even though they are different, form some kind of network, which does not mean that they are connected or anything but just that they are a network.I'm still laughing at that one.
Horowitz explains that the purpose of the site is to help people differentiate between liberals and leftists. He's upset at the lack of accuracy in our descriptions of people, explaining that we aren't going to be able to tell the difference between, say, Ward Churchill and John Kerry! Of course, because he's a moron, he doesn't see that putting these people together in a network with terrorists like Osama Bin-Laden doesn't help us to seperate more accurately. Instead it fuels the moronic idea that Bin-Laden and Kerry (Carter too!) want the same things for America.
I know his standard reply is, "Read my book! I explain all of this there and you are all just too cowardly to respond to the bold-faced truth that lies therein!" Actually, David, we know you're wrong and have better things to spend our time on then speaking slowly to a sad, paranoiac like yourself. Though, if you want, you can send me a free copy of your book and I'll read it, but you can't seriously expect anyone to pay money for a book that is obviously full of ape-shit insanity.
Update: Berube has more, and as usual it is really funny.
