I love and appreciate all of my co-bloggers. We've all enjoyed the recent addition of Bitch PhD to the staff, and of course, who could forget the lovable antics of Anti-Anti-Kamala, or the Judaizing tendencies of Old (Doug Johnson)? Where would we turn for discussions of life in community, if not to Angela; for reflections on Anthony Smith's grad school application process, if not to Anthony Smith? Who else is covering the Mark C. Taylor beat with as much zeal and vigor as Brad Johnson? And tell me this: where else could you find Dave Belcher's decisive proof of Stanley Hauerwas's assholery or Discard the Name's account of Badiou's appearance at Duke? And of course, it was here that you experienced the highlight of the last couple months, Robb's Scott McLemee t-shirt and the follow-ups.I could go on and on and on and on about all the high-quality, ground-breaking posts that all of these great people put out here every day, free of charge, for the simple joy of putting their thoughts down on silicon. It is something of a measure of this site's relative unimportance, however, that none of these people I've mentioned, nor any of the many other people on The Weblog's membership list who have not chosen to exercise their powers recently, have ever been or are likely to be a former Democratic candidate for vice-president and
