Home for the heteronomous | "Get a job — and some human rights!" Sunday, July 24, 2005Fund-raising.I would really like to go to the AAR this year, but I'm not sure this will be a possibility due to my financial needs. I'm wondering if I can raise the funds to pay for the cost of attendance (I think this is around $100 after membership fees) by getting some donations from people here. Is this even a possibility? I think I've alienated the few people who actually have a bit of money but just let me know if this is worse than pan-handling. |
