I heard this on NPR a few minutes ago:
"I'm not looking forward to this trip," Bush said as he toured Alabama and Mississippi and headed for Louisiana. "It's as if the entire Gulf Coast were obliterated by the worst kind of weapon you can imagine."
Of course that weapon is completely conventional and time-tested: human stupidity, this time manifested in the re-directing of resources away from levees towards war, systemic racism, and a complete disregard for the poor.
