I first learned of this service from an article in the New York Times, rather than from that particular web site, so that gives me some confidence that it is legitimate.The same site offers a wide variety of resources for the poor and destitute, including this helpful guide to paying off debts by scavenging trash for tin cans and searching for dropped change on the sidewalk.
