The author of apocalyptic Christian fiction whose White House appearance has recently been causing a stir is named Joel Rosenberg. My highly refined Lutheran Jewdar kicked in when I saw that name, so I went to his site, and sure enough:An evangelical Christian from an Orthodox Jewish background, Joel’s grandparents escaped Russian persecution of the Jews in the early part of the 20th century. He graduated from Syracuse University in 1989, and studied at Tel Aviv University. He is married, has four sons, and lives near Washington, D.C., where he and his wife are members of McLean Bible Church.Tell me that this doesn't mean that they're taking over the world. Tell me that this doesn't mean that the apocalypse is indeed nigh. They (you know who I mean!) won't even let us write our own paranoid Christian shit novels.
Pretty soon they'll be taking over the lucrative TV preacher racket too, and soon after that, the Pope racket itself. They're the Master Race all right, and we're all doomed.
I, for one, have mixed feelings about our new Apocalyptic Christian Zionist masters.
