A Deep Theological Insight
Blogfights are evidence not only for the doctrine of original sin, but for the idea that pride (superbia) is at the root of sin. It also give us some idea of systemic or self-perpetuating sin, given that the same blogfights come back every couple months. ("Anthony posted the ponytail picture!" "I'm totally totally only talking about the religious right!" "Theory is romanticism!" "I can post creepy quasi-anonymous comments if I feel like it and everyone at Long Sunday is always right!")I'll admit it: sometimes I want to delete everything. Not just my blog -- all of them.
