The Comforting Thought of the Future Life
One often hears it said that the joys of heaven are so great that even the worst earthly suffering will seem insignificant in comparison. It seems equally reasonable, though, to go the extra step and say that the pains of hell are so surpassingly terrible that in comparison to them, too, present suffering seems insignificant.So really, no matter which direction you're headed, the message is the same: earthly suffering is insignificant. I don't know why this isn't preached more.
