We Await Silent Tristero's Empire
Well, news today on the spam front. X-10 is dead, long live X-10.
That's right folks. No more scantily clad women "popping under" your internet and making you "pop up". Really, how did a company with such amazingly evil advertising tactics survive so long? They might as well have just said "here's a cheap way to fulfill all your voyeuristic fantasies!" Yeah, I'm sure you used that spycam just to make sure the babysitter wasn't slapping your kids around, but all the same, it's those other guys we have to worry about.
Also, because it gives me the chance to make this a full-fledged "topical" post..I'd like to mention a new cd which seems to be the coolest thing ever. It's a compilation called Outside the Inbox. The kick is that each song title is the same as a spam mail title, so you get stuff like "Do You Measure Up?" and "Erik, Someone Wants To Date You". I think it may be the coolest compilation idea ever, and best yet, it's all available online for free at that link. It's headed by Brad Sucks, who does some cool music on his own, and I first had my interest piqued by the inclusion of MC Frontalot, who is the man - not The Man.
Okay, that's really all, I'll try to do something other than "Here's a couple links" or "Here's this terribly uninteresting dream I had.." soon. I promise.
