My Slightly Tardy Version of Newest, Hottest Meme
1) Total number of books I've owned: not too sure, and I don't have them all before me to count, but if I had to estimate, I'd go with about 1000.2) The last book I bought: Q, by "Luther Blissett."
3) The last book I read: Means Without End, by Giorgio Agamben. A set of essays, many of which are probably obsolete after Homo Sacer, though a nice essay here on gesture.
4) Five books that mean a lot to me (no particular order): Thus Spake Zarathustra, Friedrich Nietzsche; Waiting for the Barbarians, J.M. Coetzee; Cinema 2: the Time-Image, Gilles Deleuze; Negative Dialectics, Theodor Adorno; Watt, Samuel Beckett.
