Ooo ... purty pictures
A couple of weeks ago, the wife & I spent a surprisingly long time at Jack Wood Gallery, completely jazzed out of our mind by how cool vintage poster art could be. While there, we saw a number of beautiful, original posters for old World Expos in places like our beloved Brussels, Paris, and Barcelona (click the link for the second print, the one by Galí). Some absolutely fabulous stuff, but also ridiculously expensive.Since then, researching graphic art has become something of a new internet hobby for me. As though I needed another. What with the world of Polish poster art and the bookcovers of Swedish erotica, I may never get anything done again.
