From the news coverage, you'd think that pardoning Nixon was tantamount to curing both cancer and AIDS while simultaneously ending poverty worldwide -- whereas one would intuitively think that it amounted to giving a free pass to one of the most criminal administrations in our nation's history. Ah, the mysteries of "national healing." |
