Where No Man Before Could Be Bothered To Go
So, I'm not one of those hard core web-surfers. Let's face it, I like to stay in the much more comfortable lazy river. This doesn't mean I don't spend much time online, as in fact I spend all-together much more than a healthy amount. But I stick to no more than 5 sites. Right now I pretty much visit Stlblues.com, adamkotsko.com, stlouisbluesnews.com, webmail.olivet.edu, and uconnect.ucok.edu, and then am done.
Okay, I still go to homestarrunner.com on mondays, and fantasysports.yahoo.com if I need to set my fantasy football lineup...and sometimes I go on excursions..but as far as a regular routine, it is those 5 sites and then I read while "chatting" or whatever..
So, as restricted as my internet browsing is, I've still managed to come across the most assinine new craze in the world. It is, of course, upside down chatting. If you don't know what I'm talking about it looks something like this:
¡alq!jjoy hl&w!S 'JMM looycs plo ay+ u! 'cuI hauoW bu!u!of ja+Je uaajb ×meyow s!y pa+u!e& e×ue+eî aw!+ +ey+ uay+ asjom ua^3 'ja^3 'pljom ay+ u! uaas ja^a a^.I bu!y+ au!u!sse +sow ay+ +noqe s! bu!&h+ umop ap!s&n y+!m abej aloym s!y+ ×u!y+ I po
So, now, all you crazy upside-down chatting go-getters...quickly print out this page and flip it upside down like the A*Teens told you to.
(alright, so it doesn't actually work here because the proper characters aren't supported by blogger for whatever reason. But, you get the gist.)
For a little more on this, there's always some of this. You can also just go there for a nice java applet for using this upside down talk. This, this, THIS.
It's stupid, it's terrible, it's assinine, and yet I promote it here in this webspace.
Forgive me Father, for I have sinned.
