How is this a good idea for a television show?
Over the weekend I ran across a TV hooked up to cable (a rare event for me) and saw a commercial for Jack & Bobby. The story of two brothers dealing with the hardships of growing up with a single mother and all that other teenage angst bullshit that the WB is known for. Obviously this is like every other WB show so they added what I think is the stupiest twist ever - one of the brothers grows up to the President of the United States and you don't know which one!So can anyone explain how that's interesting? It sounds like there is some kind of mystery to be solved but since we won't find out which one becomes President until 2041 who gives a flying fuck? If this becomes the hit TV show for the fall I will lose all faith in American culture and fling myself off the roof of the local television affiliate in Chicago.
