"Some wounds aren't for healing."
Adrian at the Young Hegelian has made, what I consider to be, an incredible post. The traditional Nietzschean line would hold that we affirm everything that has happened. It is, after all, going to open possibilities and force us to become more creative. There are lines of escape, even lines of escape from being a white male who wears glasses and has traveled to Europe. We need to look for them, for every possibility to re-code morality, to de-structure some institution, to avoid being caught by our own set of controls.
Our flesh is porous and covered by scars we bear, but we are held together by our traumas. Scars and flesh are not a lack in our being, they are an excess of production.
