A Defense of Angry Women
Weblog contributor Bitch PhD has posted a stirring defense of women's right to get angry, while also addressing abortion rights and the general obstacles women face in public speech. It is closely related to a discussion that took place in comments at Unfogged, which has become something of a feminist site (see comments especially for this one) in the aftermath of that debate.The unbridled id of the "left/liberal" blogosphere's comment pages seems to be revealing that the work of the women's movement is not even nearly finished.
UPDATE: Dr. B tells me that some discussions with washerdryer also contributed to her post of today. Specifically, I presume, this comment to this post.
